Gut Ding will gut Weile haben. Ausgehend von geologischen Prozessen, einfachen biologischen Organisationsformen, hybriden Umgebungen und posthumanen Ökosystemen untersucht das Seminar, wie die dauerhafte Präsenz einfacher Maschinen als aktive Gestalter von Raum wirken kann.

Mit Hilfe minimalistischer Roboterarchitekturen, ökologischer Rückkopplungsschleifen und ambienter Technologien erforschen die Studierenden, wie langsame, kontinuierliche Maschinenprozesse ökologische Systeme hervorbringen, die die Grenze zwischen „natürlich“ und „künstlich“ zunehmend auflösen.
