The effect of climate change on cities is multitudinous and critical; one of them is flooding. The aim and objective of this talk is to address flooding of cities due to climate change, ways to empower people and suggestive actions to combat crisis due to flooding in cities

This Talk involves experts and students from various disciplines from Austria and India. It’s not only for sharing knowledge and expertise but it can be a great way to build international relations between two countries to support each other.

This talk is an attempt to bring different concerned groups into a conversation about climate change and flooding, some of which are not often included in urban decision-making processes.

Owing to their greater responsibilities and participation, involving all stakeholders is significant in order to rethink policies for climate responsive architecture and urbanism.

This online talk and discussion is hosted by Indian Embassy of Vienna and University of Innsbruck, Institute of Experimental Architecture, Hochbau and in collaboration with Thinking Hand NGO India.
