Coop Himmelb(l)au öffnet sein Modellarchiv und zeigt ausgesuchte physische Arbeitsmodelle aus mehr als 50 Jahren Architekturpraxis. Wir sehen und besprechen unterschiedliche Arten von Projekten und Modellen von Konzept-, Studien, – Programm-, Präsentations-, bis hin zu detaillierten Modellen im Maßstab 1:50/1:20 und 1:1.
Das Arbeitsmodell ist keine Repräsentation eines Projekts oder Projektstandes, sondern ein Medium für prozesshaftes Arbeiten, durch das ästhetische, räumliche und konstruktive Ideen entstehen und reifen können, bis zur Umsetzung in die gebaute Realität.

Coop Himmelb(l)au opens the doors of its model archive and shows selected physical working models from 50 years architectural practice. We see and discuss different kinds of projects and models, from concept, study, program and presentation models to detailed models at scales 1:50/1:20 and 1:1.
The working model is not a representation of a project at a certain stage, but a process-oriented work medium through which aesthetic, spatial and structural ideas emerge and mature, all the way to the concrete reality.
